Lids for Plastic Pits

Lids to suit plastic pits are generally reinforced concrete Class A rated. Class B composite lids are now being introduced which are both stronger and lighter. Galvanized steel lids are also available for some pit types. Depending on the pit, markings can include “Electrical”, “Communications” or the NBN or Telstra logos. Larger pits use multiple lids with steel support cross bars.
